I am happy to announce my involvement with the Pro Shop, and welcome all of you to come by for a more formal introduction. Those of you that may not know me, I have been local for 10 years now, having pretty much covered all of Ulster Co, living from Highland to Hurley.
After graduating SUNY NP in '01, my continued passion for Triathlon brought about many opportunities both as an athlete and as a working professional. I spent 3 seasons at SUNY New Paltz Coaching the Men's and Women's Cross Country program, operated and managed Peak Performance Sports the region's only specialty retailer for running, was The Director of Multisport Programs for Total Immersion Swimming, and have been contracted to coach privately by the West Point Triathlon Club and others. Athletically I have competed at the elite level in Triathlon for over 6 years and continue to pursue my dreams of competing at the international level.
Together John and I are dedicated to not only providing the best equipment combined with years of training/racing experience between
us, but to provide a clubhouse for the regions athletes to hang out, drink coffee, watch Tour videos, talk about the Olympics, etc..
We are committed to selling only the best, The Shop is a licensed dealer of Cervelo, Spuik, DeSoto, Zipp, Zoot, Hammer Nutrition, Accelerade, with more on the way. Some of the clubhouse amenities you'll have access to here at the Pro Shop are:
Free Coffee
Free Wireless internet
Access to the Endless Pool
Library of videos and books available for loan
Group training sessions and training races
So come by for a few minutes or a few hours to chat about your training, we are here to help you approach your athletic potential and accomplish your seasonal goals.

FWIW, John's been riding a P3, then a P3C, since 2002, when he rode 40K in 53:46 at the North Atlantic TT. That same P3 was piloted to a 4:52:00 112 mile bike split at Ironman Florida.

Below, Dr. Scott Costley test rides his new P2C just outside the shop's front door, at full speed. Notice the smile on his face. FWIW, on his 3rd ride on his new bicycle, Scott did a 39:00 bike split at the 2008 Westchester Medical Center Duathlon (23.1 mph). In 2007, his split for the same course was 42:01.6.
