Start adjacent to Pavilion
Head out Farm Road
Slight left onto Table Rocks Trail (blue blaze) (flat)
Right turn onto Clearwater Road (red blaze) (climbs)
Right turn onto Northeast Trail @ 1.00 miles (blue blaze) (climbs)
Right turn onto Cedar Trail @ 1.82 miles (red blaze) – CAUTION! Steep short descent
Keep to right on Cedar Trail (follow red blazes – not the yellow or blue blazes to the left)
Descends to plank crossings – CAUTION! - slippery
Left onto Cedar Drive (carriage path) (climbs)
At 4 way intersection, left onto Bonticou Rd. @ 2.76 mile (carriage path) (flat)
Right onto Cedar Drive returning back to 4 way intersection (carriage path) (flat)
Left onto Bonticou Rd. (carriage path) (flat)
Right onto Spring Farm Rd. (carriage path) (descends)
Bear right onto Cedar Drive @ 4.20 miles (carriage path) (flat)
Left onto Ski Loops trail (yellow blaze) @ 4.59 miles (flat)
Left onto Farm Road, proceed short distance (flat), then
Left onto Table Rock Trails @ 5.46 miles (climbs)
Stay on Table Rock as it bears right, then descends
Left onto Spring Farm (cariage path) @ 5.98 miles (climbs)
Bear right onto Cedar Drive
Right onto Northwest Trail (red blaze) @ 6.61 miles. (descends)
At bottom take right onto Table Rock Trails (blue blaze) over plank crossings – CAUTION! - slippery
Stay on Table Rock to Gatehouse @ 7.07 miles, left, then left onto Upper 27 Knolls Road,
proceed short distance, then
Right onto Chapel Trail (blue blaze), across field, into woods, cross stream, descend to plank crossings - CAUTION! - slippery, up to field, cross paved road – CAUTION! - 2 WAY AUTO TRAFFIC
trail continues to left, entering woods. Cross 2nd paved road – CAUTION! - 2 WAY AUTO TRAFFIC, proceed right about 30 yards
Left into woods onto Undivided Lot Trail (blue blaze), Over plank crossings – CAUTION! - SLIPPERY
Stay on Undivided Lot Trail, keeping right for 2 way traffic, going past Stokes Trail on left @ 8.61 miles to Clove Path (red blaze) @ 9.71 miles.
Left onto Clove Path (very steep climb)
Left onto Plateau Path to Laurel Ledge Road @ 10.18 miles
Immediate left onto Maple Path (blue blaze). As Maple Path joins power lines, take Left onto Stokes Trail (red blaze) (descends).
You'll be running over flat rocks, marked with red blazes, then entering the woods. While on the rocks, stop for a moment to enjoy the view of the Catskills.
Right onto Undivided Lot Trail (blue blaze) @ 11.59 miles – keep right for 2 way traffic
Return to Gatehouse @ 13.16 miles the way you came on Chapel Trail (blue blaze), recrossing both roads.
Left onto Table Rock trail (blue blaze)
Proceed to Finish Line in Pavilion – 13.43 miles

NYS Thruway exit 18, New Paltz. To get to the venue, at exit 18, take a left onto 299. Proceed through town downhill to bridge over Wallkill River. Take the first right after bridge, Route 7 / Springtown Road (there will be signs for Mohonk). Proceed about a 1/2 mile to a fork and fork left, Route 6 / Mountain Rest Rd. Stay on this road to the top of the mountain, passing through the 4 way intersection, and then descend 1 mile to a sweeping left hand bend. The entrance to Mohonk Preserve, Spring Farm (27 Upper Knolls Rd) is on the right. Drive in 1 mile and you'll be at parking, start/finish, and transition. Do not park in the first lot on your left just after the gatehouse, which is for paying patrons of the preserve. We have our own parking, immediately adjacent to transition. Parking for the event is limited, so arrive early.
